Moto G5S Plus and Moto X4 key specifications leaked, could be launched by June end
Lenovo-owned Motorola recently launched its Moto Z2 Play smartphone but that isn’t stopping the leaks regarding other Motorola smartphones from surfacing online. A while ago, there was a leak which revealed the pricing details of Moto G5S, Moto Z2 Force and Moto X4 smartphones. There is fresh leak now, which further reveals the key specifications of the Moto G5S and Moto X4 giving a better idea about the upcoming Motorola smartphones.
The twitter user Andri Yatim who has been posting details about the unannounced Motorola phone has now shared complete specification details along with the launch dates of Moto G5S and Moto X4 smartphones. While a possible date of Moto X4 is said to 30th June, the Moto G5S and G5S Plus are assumed to arrive next month. Motorola has also scheduled separate events on June 21 and June 27 where it is expected to launch the Moto Z2 smartphone but there is a possibility that the company could launch either of the above mentioned smartphones.
The #motoG5S+ is a 5.5″, 3068mAh phone with SD626 and metal build. The #X4 is 5.2″, SD660 and features alloy and 3D Glass, 3800mAh battery.

Taking about the leaked specifications of the Moto G5S Plus, the tweet mentions that the smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch display and will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 626 chipset and Adreno 506 GPU. However, the leak fails to mention the internal storage variants and also the RAM of the device. Moto G5S will hold a dual rear camera setup with dual LED flash as seen in previous leaks, however the camera resolution is unknown. The device will be powered by a 3068mAh battery.

#Dual cam, 3068mAh battery and a NICE Rs18999 to Rs 19999 price? The #motoG5S+ has you covered. pic.twitter.com/Cw2G97IulZ

Coming towards the specifications of Moto X4, as per Yatim, the phone is a “posh device”, perhaps hinting at a better build quality as compared to the Motorola Moto G5S+. There’s no word on what exactly will Motorola do to make the phone more “posh”. The device will come with IP68 certification, making it water and dust resistant. However, in terms of size, it is smaller than the Moto G5S+ with a 5.2-inch display. The smartphone is most probably on a bit higher side with a slightly heavy price tag.
So here’s what you’re paying for in a #motoX4 over a #motoG5S+. Posh build, better SD660, IP68 protection, 3800mAh battery.
