Moto 360 (2015) expected to launch in India in November
Motorola announced their second-generation Moto 360 smartwatch also popularly called Moto 360 (2015) at their joint press conference with parent company Lenovo at #IFA2015 in September held in Berlin. The first gen Moto 360 got much acclaim due to its round display, making it more attractive by providing a similar look to the traditional watches. As per the recent buzz, the Moto 360 (2015) will be available in the Indian market within the next month, i.e. in November.
Few days ago, Gizmodo India mentioned in their article, “On the sidelines of the Motorola X Style launch, we spoke to Amit Boni, Country Head, Motorola confirmed to Gizmodo India that they are looking to bring the next-generation Moto 360 in November.”
The new Android wear from Motorola boasts a stainless steel design and is slim in looks as compared to the predecessor. The company calls the new smartwatch to be a fashion centric device, the premium design of the smartwatch stands upon it.
The Moto 360 (2015) gets its power from a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coming with a 512MB of RAM and the internal storage of 4GB that is quite big for a smartwatch. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, it also contains the Aderno 305 GPU for better graphics performance.
Motorola has made the watch available in two screen sizes 1.56 inch and 1.37 inch screen. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 to make sure you can use it without any scratches. The 1.56 inch variant comes with 46mm case and 400mAh battery and the 1.37 inch variant comes with 42mm case and a 300mAh battery.
The new Moto 360 starts from $299 (approx Rs.19,800) however, we have to wait till the official launch to get the Indian pricing.
