Microsoft finally launched its highly anticipated Surface Pro (2017) laptop at the ‘Microsoft Event’ in Shanghai. The Surface Pro is basically a 2-in-1 device and Microsoft flaunts it to be the ‘most versatile laptop’ from the company. The new Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) laptop is priced at $799 (roughly Rs. 52,000) and is already up for pre-orders from 23rd May.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) laptop sports a 12.3-inch display with PixelSense technology and 3:2 aspect ratio. It is powered by Intel’s seventh-generation Kaby Lake processor and runs on Windows 10 Pro and also includes a 30-day trial of Windows office. Apart from this, Microsoft has also upgraded the connectivity on Surface Pro with the all new LTE-Advanced support. Surface Pro devices with LTE connectivity are expected to ship later this year and will be priced slightly higher, though the price hasn’t been revealed by the company yet. The device will also support Surface Dial which is quite similar to that of the Surface Studio.

The laptop comes with special Surface Pro Type Covers and next-generation surface pen which has to be bought separately. The Surface Pro Type Cover with Alcantara fabric comes at a price of $159 (roughly Rs. 10,500) where as the regular black Type Covers are priced at $129 (roughly Rs. 8,500). Talking about the next-generation Surface Pen, it will be available with a price tag of $99 (Rs. 6,500 approx). The Surface Pro (2017) laptops will start shipping from 15th June and as per Microsoft they will be available in around 25 countries across the world.
