Micromax launches its entry level 4G smartphone ‘Spark Vdeo’ at Rs. 4,499
Biggest Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has quietly launched its new entry level smartphone in the country. The Micromax Spark Vdeo comes with base level specifications and will be available for purchase at Rs. 4,599 via Snapdeal starting 24th March.
The smartphone bears a 4.5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display and a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 32 GB. The Spark Vdeo holds a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
For connectivity there is 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port. The smartphone sports a 1800 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver 150 Hours of stand-by time. Micromax being a home ground company, the smartphone comes in 12 regional languages including Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Odia and Assamese.
