Meizu MX6 with 5.5-inch FHD display and Deca-core Helio X20 SoC announced
The Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu has launched a new flagship smartphone in its home country, dubbed as Meizu MX6. The all metal unibody smartphone is priced at 1999 yuan (approx. Rs. 20,000) and will go on sale from 30th July.
The Meizu MX6 flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with 1500: 1 contrast ratio. It is armed with a 2.3GHz Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 64-bit processor, coupled with ARM Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB RAM. It bears 32 GB internal storage and runs on company’s own Flyme OS 5.2 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The MX6 boasts a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, Sony IMX386 sensor, 6P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and 4K video recording. It also sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the physical home button and is backed by a 3060mAh battery with fast charging.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C. The Meizu MX6 measures 153.6x 75.2x 7.25mm and weighs 155 g. It will be offered in Gray, Silver, Gold and Pink color variants. However, there is no word on its Indian availability yet.
