In it’s latest announcement, LG has clarified that, they will be launching their new flagship phone LG V30+ in the Indian market, on the 13th of December this year. Though the makers did not throw any light upon what kind of a price tag the users can expect. But based on the market price of the phone in the foreign markets, it can be expected to be around Rs. 51, 588 ($800) in the Indian market.
The estimated price of the phone may seem a bit on the higher side, but once you start going through the specifications you can understand why the company is demanding a big price. The LG V30+ has a 6.0” QHD+ FullVision OLED display with 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution, having 18:9 aspect ratio with 81.2% screen-to-body ratio, which is supported by HDR10.
The LG V30+ features dual rear cameras with 16 MP standard angle lens with an aperture size of f/1.6, and a 13 MP 120-degree wide-angle lens with an aperture size of f/1.9. On the front there is a 5 MP camera with wide-angle field of view of 90 ̊. The front camera has many features like gesture shot which allows you to take a selfie with a simple hand gesture, gesture interval shot takes four selfies in sequence by making a fist twice, gesture view transitions between camera mode and preview mode automatically.
The phone is powered by a 3300 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging. The LG V30+ runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.4 GHz and paired with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB onboard storage with up to 2 TB of expandable memory using a microSD card. The LG V30+ is loaded with Bang & Olufsen speakers, which makes access to media quite fun. It has fingerprint scanner at the back of the handset, which also acts as a home button. Since security features are being considered as the unique selling point of smartphones these days, the LG V30+ apart from its finger print scanner, also has facial recognition and voice recognition features, that makes the phone more secure than it’s predecessors.
