Lenovo’s ultra thin 2-in-1 Yoga Book with Halo keyboard launched in India at Rs. 49,990
Lenovo has officially launched the Yoga Book ultra thin 2-in-1 laptop in India at a price tag of Rs. 49,990. It was first announced at IFA 2016 in September.
The Lenovo Yoga book has a magnesium aluminium alloy body. It has two panels that open up like an ultra-thin notebook. It is dubbed as the world’s “thinnest and lightest” hybrid, measuring at just 9.6mm in thickness when closed, tapering to 4.05mm at its slimmest edge and weighing just 690 grams.
The USP of the Yoga Book is the Halo Keyboard, which can be attached to the touch-based tablet. The halo keyboard is a full touch screen backlit keyboard that is made with glass for a rough, matte feel and finish, along with anti-glare coating for the best touch-typing experience. It constantly learns and adapts to the typing habits of its user, with built-in prediction and artificial learning software. Meanwhile, the real-pen accessory lets you draw on the halo keyboard. The stylus holds real ink tips and does not require any charging.
The Lenovo Yoga Book sports a 10.1-inch Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) display with 400 nits brightness. On the performance front, it is powered by 1.44GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8550 Quad-core processor with Turbo speed up to 2.4GHz and 2MB Cache. The processor on board is paired with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM.
On the camera front, it has an 8MP Auto-focus rear camera and a 2MP fixed-focus front camera. It comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It comes in Android 6.0 OS and Windows 10 OS variants.
The Lenovo Yoga book is backed by a 8500 mAh battery that offers up to 13 hours of backup on a single charge. It supports single sim and comes with Dolby Atmos sound. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Lenovo Yoga Book is now available exclusively on Flipkart. However, in India only the Windows 10 variant is available as of now, with no words about the Android variant yet.
