Lenovo Vibe Shot with 16MP camera set to launch on Sep 22 in India
Lenovo India has finally announced that the Lenovo Vibe Shot will be launched on September 22. The camera-centric smartphone was first announced in March at MWC earlier this year, while a month ago, Lenovo showed its photography capabilities.
The main feature of the Lenovo Vibe Shot is its 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, six-piece modular lens, and a tri-color LED flash. It also has an infrared autofocus that company claims to be 2 times faster than normal autofocus. On the front, it sports an 8 megapixel selfie snapper.
The Vibe Shot flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 441ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB internal memory, expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Vibe UI on top.
The dual-sim smartphone supports 4G connectivity along with 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and micro USB. It is packed with a 3000mAh battery.
The Lenovo Vibe Shot will be available in Titanium Grey, White and Rose Red color variant and is expected to be priced around $300 (approx Rs 19,800).
