LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 launched in China
After surfacing in several leaks and rumors, LeEco (formerly known as LeTV) has finally launched its three new smartphones, dubbed as Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2, at an event in Beijing, China.
The LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 come with the new Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) audio standard through USB Type-C port, instead of a 3.5mm audio jack. They also have 8 megapixel front-facing camera and fingerprint sensor at rear panel. All these smartphones run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EUI 5.5 on top and offer connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz),Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type C.
Now lets look at them distinctively.
1. LeEco Le 2:
The LeEco Le 2 features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor, paired with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and 3 GB DDR3 RAM. It bears 32 GB internal storage and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging. It sports a 16 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash.
The Le 2 is priced at 1099 Yuan (approx. Rs. 11,200).
2. LeEco Le 2 Pro:
The Le 2 Pro (seen above) has almost similar specifications of Le 2, except the powerhouse and rear camera. It is powered by MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor, coupled with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and 4 GB DDR3 RAM. It also boasts a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF.
The Le 2 Pro is priced at 1499 Yuan (approx Rs. 15,300).
3. LeEco Le Max 2:
The Le Max 2 flaunts a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with 95% NTSC color gamut, Under the hood, it has Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor, clocked at 2.15 GHz, clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU. It will be offered in two variants; one with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, while another with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.
The Le Max 2 sports 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF, OIS, 6P lenses, and f/2.0 aperture. It is packed with a 3100mAh battery with fast charging and also includes Qualcomm Sense ID Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The LeEco Le Max 2 is priced at 2099 Yuan (approx. Rs. 21,460) for the 32 GB variant, whereas the 64 GB variant will cost 2499 Yuan (approx. Rs. 25,500).
All these smartphones are now available for pre-order in China, and will go on sale from April 26th. However, there is no word about their Indian availability or pricing yet.
