Kodak launches range of LED TVs in India, prices start at Rs. 13,500
Kodak, the company which is best known for its Cameras, has now entered into the Television market with five new TV’s in India. These TVs are manufactured by Super Plastronics, which is a license partner of Kodak.
Kodak has launched three Smart TV’s in 32, 40 and 50-inches of a screen, while two regular TV’s in 32 and 40 inches of screen. Both the 32-inches of TV’s have HD (1366×768 pixels) display, whereas the 40 and 50-inch models have Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Samsung display panel. The 32-inch regular TV comes with 250 nits display brightness, while all the other TV’s have 300 nits of brightness.
The Smart TV’s come with the latest Interface, USB to USB copy, 4 GB Flash storage, 512 MB memory, MHL and Air Mouse feature. These TV’s run on Android KitKat OS and have support for WiFi and Miracast. The regular TV’s have USB to USB copy feature and some inbuilt games too. All the TVs come with 2 HDMI and 2 USB ports, except the 50-inch model which has 3 HDMI and 3 USB ports.
The 32, 40 and 50-inch Smart TVs are priced at Rs. 17,000, Rs.25000 and Rs. 36,000 respectively. Whereas the 32-inch and 40-inch normal TVs are priced at Rs 13,500 and Rs 21,500 respectively. All these TV’s will be available from August 15th via major online retailers, except the 32-inch models, which will be available exclusively on Shopclues.
