Overall, the InFocus Vision 3 is a very beautiful looking phone with a big 5.7 inches display with 18:9 aspect ratio, a feature which is very attractive and trending these days. It has also got another highlighting feature with Dual rear cameras, which however is not the best, neither is the performance. So, it has one great thing but some departments do take a hit as well. InFocus Vision 3 Review:

InFocus has been steadily improving its offerings in the Indian market and its latest launch, the InFocus Vision 3 looks like its best value for money offering till date, also it is launched in India at the perfect time when it has no other serious competition with 18:9 display or Dual cameras. It comes in a beautiful design with narrow bezels, accompanying the tall 5.7 inches screen in a compact form factor. Although it is a plastic body, the build quality is good.

The 5.7 inches screen has got HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, which is a great thing at such a low cost. The overall display quality is very good for its price, the viewing angles are also good. Coming to the performance, the InFocus Vision 3 runs on a 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek MTK6737H processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and ARM Mali T720 GPU. The performance is acceptable, it handles the day to day usage smoothly and you can also expect some multitasking and a bit of gaming on this phone (with little heating) but, one thing should be clear, it cannot match the performance of a Snapdragon 435, available on the Redmi 4.

Coming to another highlight of the phone, the Dual cameras on the back, it includes a 13 MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, while the  5 MP secondary sensor comes with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle. The picture quality is average, it can click good shots when the phone is steady but things can get blurry if your hands are little shaky. In the night, it gets the colors accurately but there is evident noise. It’s not like a bad camera phone but it is not the best either, it just gets the job done. On the front, there is an 8 MP selfie shooter which clicks good selfies.

The phone comes with a ‘Dualfie’ feature which lets you click pictures from the front as well as the rear camera at the same time, in the same frame, it is a cool feature and can come in handy if you love playing around the camera and selfies for social media. The InFocus Vision 3 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based Smile UX, with a promised Oreo update in the mid of 2018. The Smile UX is feature rich and has got ‘App Twins’ feature which lets you run two instances of apps like WhatsApp.

It has got an accurate fingerprint scanner on the back, it may not be as fast as the one on Redmi 4 but it is good. The dual sim phone comes with a hybrid slot. It packs in 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. One more good thing about the phone is its big non-removable 4000 mAh battery, which provides good battery backup but doesn’t support fast charging.

InFocus Vision 3 (Midnight Black):

InFocus Vision 3 is suitable to use for:
  • Heavy Users
  • Normal Day to Day Users
  • Heavy Gamers
  • Moderate Gamers
  • Camera Lovers
  • Selfie Lovers
  • Multimedia Consumption
