Infinix enters India with Note 4 and Hot 4 Pro smartphones priced at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 7,999
The Chinese tech firm Transsion Holdings has now brought its online smartphone brand Infinix in India. The company has made its entry by the launch of two budget smartphones, Infinix Note 4 and the Infinix Hot 4 Pro yesterday. The Note 4 comes at a price of Rs. 8,999 where as the Hot 4 Pro is priced at Rs. 7,999. Both the smartphones will be sold exclusively via Flipkart and will be available from 3rd August.
The smartphones come bundled with a few interesting launch offers as well, under which all those who buy the smartphones will get two months free subscription for Hotstar Premium. Apart from this, Idea Cellular is offering the buyers 84 GB of data for 84 days at Rs. 443. Flipkart has also listed exchange offers of up to Rs. 8,500 for the Infinix Note 4 and up to Rs. 7,000 for the Infinix Hot 4. Lastly, the buyers will also get an extra 15 percent off on Flipkart Fashion and Lifestyle category on August 5-6.

Coming down the specifications, the expensive one that is the Note 4 sports a 5.7-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D glass on top. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up 128 GB via microSD. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat with company’s own XOS UI on top.
In the imaging department, the Infinix Note 4 holds a 13-megapixel rear camera accompanied with a LED flash and features like autofocus, and a ‘Pro’ mode for manually adjusting the camera settings. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera again with a LED flash. The smartphone packs a 4,300 mAh battery with company’s own 18W fast charge technology called XCharge and also embeds a fingerprint scanner in the home button. The connectivity options of the smartphone include, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS. The on-board sensors include, G-sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and hall sensor.
Talking about the Infinix Hot 4 Pro, it sports a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display and is powered by the 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor. The smartphone comes with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable (up to 128 GB) via microSD card. The device run on Android Marshmallow with XOS UI on top.
The optics on the smartphone include, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and fixed focus along with a 5-megapixel front camera with soft light flash support for low-light selfies. It packs a 4,000 mAh battery and also has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS support.
