Huawei P9 with 12MP dual rear camera, Kirin 955 SoC and 3GB RAM launched at Rs. 39,999
Huawei has finally launched its flagship phone, dubbed as Huawei P9 in India. The smartphone which was first unveiled in London in April is priced at Rs. 39,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart.
The USP of the Huawei P9 is its dual rear camera setup, which was co-developed by the famous camera manufacturer, Leica. It has a 12 megapixel dual rear cameras with Leica SUMMARIT lenses, dual-tone LED flash, Laser Auto Focus, and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with a f/2.4 aperture for selfie lovers. It also boasts a fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor.
The P9 features a full-metal unibody and has a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with over 96% NTSC color gamut. Under the hood, it has octa-core Kirin 955 (4x 2.5GHz A72, A53 4 x 1.8 GHz) processor, clubbed with Mali T880-MP4 GPU and 3GB RAM. It bears 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s own EMUI 4.1 on top.
The Huawei P9 is packed with a 3000mAh battery with Quick charging support and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It measures 145 × 70.9 × 6.95mm and weighs 146g.
The Huawei P9 will be offered in Titanium Grey, Mystic Silver, and Prestige Gold color variants. The company will also offer 2 years warranty with pickup and drop service and 3 months replacement / display damage warranty.
