Google has finally introduced the Family Library to Android apps that will allow users to share the purchased movies and apps from Google Play with up to six family members.
Up until now, Google has only offered this feature to Google Play Music, where one music plan can cover all your family members. However, unlike the Google Play Music which requires a $14.99 monthly subscription fee, the Family Library will be free for all Android users. Once a user open Family account, who will make all the purchases, can invite five more people to share the purchased content. The family can control which movies and app are being shared with and will also receive receipts for every transaction made, in order to keep track of the purchases.
Although this feature is now available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the UK, and the US only, there is no word when it will be rolled out Indian users.
