Lava X80 with 8-inch HD display and Intel Atom SoC launched at Rs. 9,999

The Indian manufacturer, Lava has launched a new tablet, known as Lava X80. The tablet is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be offered in Black and White color variants.

The Lava X80 features an 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS OGS display and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Baytrail processor, clocked at 1.3GHz with Turbo boost up to 1.83GHz, paired with 1GB RAM. It offers 16GB internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD and the tablet runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.

The X80 sports 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a 4200mAh battery and offers connectivity options like 3G (with voice calling), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It measures 215.5 x 125 x 9mm and weighs 320 g.
