After lunching the A1 Plus last month, the Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has now launched its Gionee X1 smartphone in India. The smartphone falls in the budget segment and comes with entry-level specifications. The Gionee A1 Plus is priced at Rs. 8,999 and is now available for purchase in Black and Gold colors via offline retail stores in the country.
The smartphone comes with a couple of launch offers under which, the Airtel subscribers, both new and existing will receive up to 10 GB additional data per month for up to 6 recharges. Also, all those who buy the smartphone will get two Patym cashback voucher codes which will entitle them to Rs. 250 cashback on a minimum purchase of Rs. 350 on Paytm Mall.
The Gionee X1 sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixel) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Amigo 4.9 UI on top.
In the imaging department, we are looking at an 8 MP rear camera with 1.4″ sensor, 1.12μm pixel size, auto-focus and LED Flash. There is also an 8 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The Gionee X1 packs a 3,000 mAh battery and has got a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The connectivity options include dual-sim support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The smartphone measures 144.3 x 72.2 x 8.8 mm.
