Coolpad Cool M7 with Snapdragon 625 SoC and 5.5-inch Full-HD display launched in China
Coolpad has launched another smartphone in its home country China, dubbed as the Cool M7. The smartphone falls in the mid-range segment and comes with some well to do specifications. The smartphone is priced at 2699 yuan (Rs. 25,900 approx), and is available for pre-order from jd.com, before it goes on sale from August 26 in China.
The Coolpad Cool M7 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a 2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Cool UI 8.0 on top.
In the imaging department, the smartphone features a 12 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) accompanied with a dual-tone LED flash. On the front, there is a 13 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, and 79.8-degree field of view for better and wider selfies.
Design wise the smartphone holds a sleek metal unibody which is just 6.9 mm thick. The Coolpad Cool M7 packs a 3,200 mAh battery to keep things ticking and there is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C. The smartphone also comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and a dedicated amplifier for a better audio output. The device measures 151.16 × 74.32 × 6.9 mm and weighs 152 grams.
