BSNL now offers unlimited voice calling to any network for Rs. 144
After several rollout of unlimited free voice calling offers from Indian telcos, starting from Reliance Jio, the State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has launched a new offer at just Rs. 144, setting a new benchmark for other major telcos like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea.
The new Rs. 144 plan from BSNL offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network for a period of one month. It would also come with 300MB data. The plan is valid for six months and is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers.
Besides, the new offer, the telecom service provider has launched 4,400 Wi-Fi hotspots across the country and had also obtained 2500MHz from Government of India for launching service in rural areas. It would unveil classic LTE (Long Term Evolution) spectrum in a phased manner.
We have 4,400 Wi-Fi hotspots launched country-wide. I think in Mahabalipuram near Chennai has a similar Wi-Fi hotspots. Our immediate strategy is to expand this. In next one year, we will be having around 40,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the country.

The Rs. 99 pack offers free unlimited Local and STD voice calls across India, but only to other BSNL customers and comes with 300MB of data with a validity of 28 days. Whereas, the Rs. 339 pack offers free unlimited Local and STD voice calls to any network in India along with 1GB of data with a validity of 28 days on pan-India basis.
