Asus relaunches Zenfone Max with Snapdragon 615 SoC and Android 6.0 in India
Asus, today, has launched a new variant of Zenfone Max in India, priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 2 GB RAM variant and Rs. 12,999 for the 3 GB RAM variant. It will be available through ASUS Exclusive Stores and retail outlets across the country.
The upgraded version of the Asus Zenfone Max is now powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor, clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB/3GB RAM, rather than Snapdragon 410 SoC. It now has 32 GB of internal storage as compared to the 16 GB of internal memory in its old variant. It now runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Zen UI 2.0.
However, the other specifications of the phone remain the same. Still to recall, the Zenfone Max features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, and dual LED flash. It is also equipped with a 5 MP Selfie snapper with 85-degree wide-angle support. The Dual SIM phone supports 4G LTE connectivity, apart from that it also supports 3G, GPS, micro USB and Bluetooth 4.0. It is backed by a huge 5000mAh battery.
The Asus Zenfone Max will be offered in Black, Orange, and Blue color variants.
