Asus launches ZenFone Pegasus 3 with Android 6.0 and 4G VoLTE
Asus has announced a new smartphone in China, dubbed as Asus ZenFone Pegasus 3. The metal bodied smartphone is now available for purchase and the price starts at 1299 yuan (approx. Rs. 13,250).
The ZenFone Pegasus 3 comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor, coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes in two variants, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, another with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZenUI 3.0 on top.
The Pegasus 3 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5P lens, and f/2.2 aperture. It also bears a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint sensor at the back and is packed with a 4100mAh battery. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
The Asus ZenFone Pegasus 3 will be offered in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver and Gray color variants. The smartphone is priced at 1299 yuan (approx. Rs. 13,200) for 2GB RAM variant and the 3GB RAM variant costs 1499 yuan (approx. Rs. 15,300). There is no word on its global roll out yet.
