Apple schedules an event on September 7th; iPhone 7 and Watch 2 launch expected
Apple is all set to host an event where it is widely expected to introduce the new iPhones and Apple Watch 2. The invites are already sent to media for the big event which will be held at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco on September 7 at 10 AM PT or 10.30 PM IST.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 7 in three variants this year namely, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro. All these smartphones are expected to come 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants and will ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. The company is also expected to unveil the updated iPad, MacBook Air, and Pro this year, according to Bloomberg.
The Apple Watch 2 which is also expected to be showcased at the event, which is now said to pack a 334mAh battery in its 42mm variant, which gives 35 percent more battery life than its predecessor, reports 9to5Mac.
Apple will also offer the live stream of the event for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch users with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, Mac users with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a Windows 10 users with Microsoft Edge.
