Airtel now offers 10 GB 4G data on new 4G smartphones at Rs. 259 only
Once again, the data war is on show, following the launch of 4G data services by Reliance Jio. Now, Bharti Airtel has announced a new data offer for all its customers purchasing a new 4G-enabled smartphone for next three months. Users will get 10 GB 4G data on a recharge of just Rs. 259.
Airtel says 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed via MyAirtel App. The data will be valid for 28 days. Users can recharge a maximum of 3 times within 90 days to avail the offer. While the offer needs to be availed within 30 days of the purchase of a new 4G smartphone.
Earlier this month, Bharti Airtel introduced 4G services in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh with this special offer. The offer has now been extended across India and is available across all brands of 4G handsets. Airtel now provides 4G services across 18 circles in India. In non 4G circles, 3G data will be available to customers under the offer.
In September, Airtel launched a special offer of free 30 GB 4G data for 90 days at Rs. 1,495 for its prepaid customers. This is not the first time, any company has slashed their 4G data packs. Vodafone has already launched a similar offer, where it offers 9 GB free 4G data on recharge of minimum 1 GB data pack.
