Airtel launches a special pack: Offers free 30 GB 4G data for 90 days at Rs. 1,495
After the entry of Reliance Jio in the Indian telecom market, the telecom war has certainly spiced up. Making a counter move against the much talked about Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel has launched a new special 4G data pack for prepaid customers with a validity of 90 days. Existing prepaid customers can avail this offer for Rs. 1,495, while new customers can avail this offer via first recharge of Rs. 1494.
This new special 4G data pack is currently available in the Delhi circle only, but will be launched across other circles over the next few days. Even though it is free, the pack has a 4G data cap for 30 GB due to Fair usage policy, after that speed will be reduced to 2G with unlimited data.
This special offer from Airtel goes down to the idea of Rs. 50 per GB, as you would be paying Rs. 1,495 for 30 GB 4G data, much similar to the Reliance Jio.
At Airtel, we are focused on providing great value to customers. Customers with 4G handsets generally consume large amounts of data and this proposition is specifically aimed at them. With this pack these customers can stay online round the clock without having to worry about exhausting their data limits or going for frequent recharges.

With this offer, Airtel will be aiming for a rise in their 4G user base and also refraining customers from switching to Reliance Jio. However, to match up with the offerings of Reliance Jio, Airtel and other telcos will have to do a lot more than this.
