Jio re-introduces Rs. 153 plan for Jio Phone users with 1 GB 4G data per day; also launches Rs. 24 & Rs. 54 plans
The beginning of the new year saw Jio launching exciting offers for its Jio Prime subscribers. Where on one hand, the telecom giant slashed the prices on their already existing plans by Rs. 50, it also saw the company introducing new recharge packages offering more data benefits, for an additional charge of Rs. 50. Now, there is a new announcement coming in from Jio that it has refurbished its Rs 153 plan to offer more data.
From today onwards, any Jio Phone user who recharges their number with the Rs. 153 plan will get 1 GB daily data, instead of 500 MB, which was previously the case. Along with unlimited free STD/local calls, the recharge also offers free roaming and 100 SMS per day. The validity of the plan remains the same but the data limit has now been increased to 1 GB data. As usual, the users will get high-speed data, for their allotted 1 GB daily quota, after which the speeds will be dialed down to 64 Kbps.
Along with all of these offers, the plan also offers a free subscription to Jio suite of apps, such as JioTV, JioMovies, and JioMusic among others. It should be duly noted that the Rs. 153 offer only stands valid if the Jio SIM has been inserted into a Jio Phone. But if such a user wants to get the benefits of other plans from the company, including the Rs. 399 or higher, they can recharge their phones with any of the packs.
Apart from these benefits on the Rs. 153 plan for the Jio Phone users, the company has also introduced, two sachet plans of Rs. 24 and Rs. 54. The Rs. 24 pack offers benefits such as free voice calls, 500 MB 4G data per day, 20 SMS, and Jio apps access for two days. At the same time the Rs. 54 pack offers free voice calls, 500 MB 4G data per day and 70 SMS over a period of 7 days.
Reliance Jio has also introduced another scheme called the “100% cashback offer” available only to Prime subscribers. On every recharge of Rs. 398 or above, Jio is offering cash back worth Rs. 700. The cashback will be availed to the consumers via 8 vouchers of 50 each which will be credited to MyJio app account. In order to ensure the consumers get the promised benefits, Jio has partnered with leading digital wallets like Amazon Pay, Paytm, MobiKwik, PhonePe, BHIM, and Freecharge and the offer is valid until January 31, 2018.
