Meizu M3X and Pro 6 Plus with 12MP rear camera, fingerprint sensor launched in China
Meizu has launched, the Meizu M3X and Pro 6 Plus smartphones at an event in China. The Meizu M3X is a mid-range smartphone, while the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is a flagship smartphone with Samsung’s Exynos 8890 SoC.
The Meizu M3X sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with 85% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-core 16nm processor, coupled with ARM Mali T880 GPU.
On the camera front, it packs a 12MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, Sony IMX386 sensor, 6P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, 4K video recording and a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Flyme UI on top.
The dual-sim smartphone is backed by a 3200mAh battery with fast charging support. The fingerprint sensor is embedded into the home button. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and USB Type-C. It measures at 153.8×76×7.4mm and weighs at 165g.
The Meizu M3X comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage priced at 1699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 16,895) and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant priced at 1999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 19,880). It comes in Pearl White, Phantom Blue, Gold and Obsidian Black colors and will be available for order in China starting today and goes on sale from 8th December.
On the other hand, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 3D Press and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a 2/2.3GHz Octa-Core Exynos 8890 SoC, coupled with Mali-T880 MP10 GPU and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
On the camera front, it packs a 12MP rear camera with dual-tone 10-LED Ring Flash, Laser Auto focus, 4-axis OIS, PDAF, 6P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, 1.25μm size, 4K video recording and a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Flyme UI on top.
The dual-sim smartphone is backed by a 3400 mAh battery with fast charging support. It includes fingerprint sensor, heart rate sensor, ESS ES9018K2M audi chip and ADI AD45275 amplifier. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, USB 3.1 Type-C and NFC. It measures at 155.6×77.3x 7.3mm and weighs at 158g.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus also comes in two storage bundles – 64GB storage variant with 2GHz Exynos 8890 SoC priced at 2,999 Yuan (approx Rs. 29,900), while the 128GB storage variant with 2.3GHz Exynos 8890 SoC is priced at 3,299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 32,800). It comes in Champagne Gold, Sky Grey and Moonlight Silver colors and will be available for order starting today in China and goes on sale from 23rd December.
