Google starts rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update to Nexus devices
After revealing its name last month, Google has finally started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat for the handful of nexus devices.
Google announced on their official blog that the first devices which would get a taste of Android 7.0 are Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Pixel C, and General Mobile 4G which is an Android One phone. Also, those who have enrolled in the Android Beta Program will also receive this final version.Android 7.0 brings a number of new features like Multi-Window Mode that will let you run two apps simultaneously on both phones and tablets. There are also improvements to the Doze feature which will now put your phone into a low power state when it is in your pocket or purse to help save more battery life. Also, Virtual Reality Mode for Daydream-ready phones, customizable Quick Settings tiles, Vulkan API for improved 3D graphics, the ability to reply to messages directly from the notification, and 72 new emoji.The search giant has also confirmed that LG’s V20 which will launch on September 6th, will be the first phone to released with Android 7.0 Nougat.
