Idea slashed data pack rates by up to 45% for prepaid users
The Indian telecom operator, Idea has slashed its mobile internet rates to offer more value to the customers on their 4G, 3G and 2G data packs. The company is now offering 45 per cent more data on existing data packs below 1 GB.
For example, its 2G data pack priced at Rs 19 offering 75 MB data for three days, will now offer 110 MB data for three days. Similarly, a 4G/3G data pack for Rs 22 which offers 65 MB data for 3 days will now give 90 MB 3G data for 3 days. Idea offers data packs starting from Rs. 8 and it goes up to Rs. 225.

The revised data packs are now available across all circles. Looks like the company wants to attract and retain users ahead of the Reliance Jio commercial launch.
