Meizu Pro 6 with Deca core Helio X25 SoC and 21.6MP camera launched in China
As expected, Meizu has launched its latest flagship smartphone, Meizu Pro 6 at an event in China. The full metal body smartphone is now available in China and prices start from 2499 yuan (approx. Rs. 25,700).
The Meizu Pro 6 features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 3D Press, 2.5D glass , Gorilla Glass 3 and brightness up to 450 nits. It is powered by Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X25 processor (Cortex 1.4GHz x 4 + Cortex A53 2.0GHz x 4 + Cortex A72 2.5GHz X 2) paired with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and 4GB LPDDR3 RAM. It comes in two storage variants, 32 GB and 64 GB, and runs on Flyme OS 5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Pro 6 houses a 21.6 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone Ring LED Flash, Laser Auto focus, PDAF, 6P lenses, f/2.2 aperture, and 4K video recording. It also has 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor built-in physical home button. It is packed with 2560mAh battery with fast charging.
On the connectivity front, it offers 4G LTE with VoLTE , WiFi 802.11 ac/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB 3.1 Type-C. It measures 147.7 x 70.8 x 7.25mm and weighs 160 g.
The Meizu Pro 6 comes in Gold, Silver and Gray color variants and is priced at 2499 yuan (approx. Rs. 25,700) for the 32GB variant and the 64 GB version costs 2799 yuan (approx Rs. 28,790). However, there is no word on its Indian pricing or availability yet.
