Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) with S bike mode and 4G LTE launched at Rs. 8,990
The South Korean tech giant, Samsung has launched a new budget smartphone dubbed as, Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) in India. The 4G enabled smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,990 and is now available exclusively on Snapdeal.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 Pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 64-bit processor, paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1.5 GB RAM. It bears 8 GB internal memory, that is further expandable up to 128 GB with microSD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI on top.
The USP of the Galaxy J3 (2016) is its ‘S Bike Mode’ feature for bikers, which once enabled automatically replies to calls with pre-recorded messages in 14 languages and motion lock feature to ensure rider comes to a halt before answering. It sports an 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and 5 megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a 2600mAh battery.
Connectivity options on the smartphone includes 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, and USB OTG. It measures 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm and weighs 138 g. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) will be offered in Black, White and Gold color variants.
