Amazon India, under its “Crafted for Amazon” initiative, had announced the arrival of the 10.or D smartphone on 20th December last year. The budget phone which is packed with some good features for the price is the 3rd smartphone from the 10.or brand. In the announcement, the company had declared that the phone was to be launched exclusively on Amazon and has gone on sale on Amazon.in from 12 PM onwards today.
Since today is the first time the phone is going on sale, there are a lot of offers up for grabs. For instance, the Reliance Jio users can get up to Rs. 1,500 cash back, in order to do that, the consumer will have to subscribe to Rs. 199 plan, after that they will receive cashback in the form of eight vouchers of Rs. 100 each. And users making a monthly recharge of Rs. 299 will get 15 cash back vouchers of Rs. 100 each. The vouchers can be availed only if the customer performs 15 consecutive recharges on the 10.or D on or before 30th August 2019. And as for the Amazon Prime members, at the time of the initial announcement, it was declared that they would be offered 1-year extended warranty on the phone.
The 10.or D, which comes in two variants of 2 GB RAM / 16 GB storage and 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage is priced at Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 5,999 respectively. Both the variants will be equipped with a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280) screen and will be running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with Stock Android UI, with a promised Android Oreo update. For computing, the smartphone will make use of a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with Andreno 308 GPU. For optics, the budget phone is loaded with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera on the front.
Coming to the physical features of the phone, it has a plastic body, within which it will house a 3,500 mAh battery for power consumption. As for the dimensions of the phone are concerned, it measures 147 X 74.3 x 8.98 mm and weighs at 150 gms. Apart from these features, it has a single speaker with Dirac sound algorithm and 2 microphones and also features a 3.5 mm audio jack. For connectivity, the smartphone relies upon Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi and supports VoLTE, ViLTE, 3G, 4G and 2G networks.
