Samsung launches Gear Fit 2 fitness tracker and Gear IconX Bluetooth ear buds
As expected, Samsung has officially introduced the Gear Fit 2, a fitness tracker and Gear IconX Bluetooth earbuds. The Samsung Gear Fit 2 is priced at $179 (approx. Rs. 12,000), whereas the price for Gear IconX has not been announced yet.
Samsung Gear Fit 2:
The Samsung Gear Fit 2 features 1.5-inch (216 x 432 pixels) Curved Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It runs on Tizen OS and is compatible with phones running Android 4.4 or later with 1.5 GB RAM or more.

The successor to Gear Fit is backed by a 200mAh battery and has Bluetooth v4.2 for the connectivity. It has GPS and a heart rate monitor (HRM) and can measure distance, pace, route and calories burned and heart rate. It also has a standalone music player and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Samsung Gear Fit 2 comes in Black, Blue and Pink colors in small and large sizes, and will be available from 10th June.
Samsung Gear Icon X:
The Samsung Gear Icon X are the Bluetooth ear buds, that also acts as a fitness tracking device. It also has a standalone music player and includes 4GB of storage for your music. It is splash resistant with P2i Nano Coating and has Bluetooth V4.1 for the connectivity.
It is compatible with phones running Android 4.4 or later with 1.5 GB RAM or more, and has a battery capacity of 47mAh for Earbuds and 315mAh for charging case. The Samsung Gear IconX will be offered in black, blue and white colors with three sizes of ear tips and wingtips. It will be available very soon.
