Lenovo Zuk Edge with Snapdragon 821 SoC, U-touch fingerprint sensor set to launch in China on 20th December
The Lenovo Zuk Edge smartphone was leaked in live images last month, showing narrow bezels. Earlier, it also passed the TENAA certification. Today, the company has confirmed that the phone will be launched at an event in China on 20th December.
The Lenovo Zuk Edge is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and powered by 2.35GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor. It might come in 4GB or 6GB RAM with 32GB or 64GB internal storage variants.
On the camera front, it is expected to sport a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. The dual sim smartphone is likely to run on Android 7.0 Nougat with ZUI 2.0 and backed by a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Lenovo has also confirmed that it will feature invisible U-Touch fingerprint sensor below the display, which could be ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C.
The Lenovo Zuk Edge will come in Black and White colors. However, the exact design and pricing of the smartphone will be known at the launch event only. Stay tuned for more updates!
