Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone 2 Laser & Zenfone Max Launched
The Taiwanese giant, Asus has launched four new smartphones today at Zen Festival event held in New Delhi, India as announced last week. The smartphones which are dubbed as Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone Selfie, and Zenfone 2 Laser are launched at the price tag of Rs 22,999, Rs 15,999, and Rs 9,999 respectively. The price of the fourth phone Zenfone Max is yet not revealed by the company.

Let’s get into the details of these devices one by one:
Zenfone 2 Deluxe:
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe is a perfect mixture of beauty and strength, it comes with the premium back cover made of premium polygonal design and comes in white, blue and red colors, described the company chairman Johnny Shih. The design features over 500 tessellated triangles giving a crystal like textured effect.
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe flaunts a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS display with a pixel density of 403 ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with PowerVR G6430 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Asus Zen UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is packed with a 3000 mAh battery with fast charging capability that can give 60% of charging within just 40 minutes.
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and Xenon flash and a 5 MP front camera with wide-angle lens. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and micro USB. The Dual SIM phone comes in 64 GB and 128 GB storage variant, and the price starts from Rs 22,999.
Zenfone Selfie:
The Second phone which Asus released today is the Zenfone Selfie. As the name says the smartphone is completely focused around Selfie lovers. It sports a 13 megapixel of Toshiba sensor at front with an f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, dual LED flash and 88 degrees wide-angle to fit many people into your selfies. The rear camera is just the same as front camera but it comes with f/2.0 aperture.
The Zenfone Selfie sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and Adreno 405 GPU paired with 2 GB/ 3 GB RAM in options. The smartphone runs on Asus Zen UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The dual SIM phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and A-GPS and comes with 3000 mAh battery. The device offers 16 GB/32 GB internal storage variants which are further expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. The Zenfone Selfie is available in Pure White, Aqua Blue, and Chick Pink color variants and the price starts from Rs 15,999.
Zenfone 2 Laser:
The Zenfone 2 Laser which was also launched today is a budget smartphone which comes in 2 variants, Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL and ZE601KL.
The Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL comes with a 5.5 inches HD (1280×720 pixels) screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection but again comes in 2 variants, one with Snapdragon 410 quad-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM and another with Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 3 GB RAM. The first one is priced at Rs. 9,999 and the second one is priced at Rs. 13,999.
The Zenfone 2 Laser ZE601KL comes with a 6 inches Full HD display, it is priced at 17,999 Rs.
The common and most important feature of the Zenfone 2 Laser variants is the 13 MP rear camera with laser autofocus (Asus claims that it takes less than a second to focus) and dual-LED flash, while on front a 5 MP sensor for amazing selfies. The Zenfone 2 Laser is powered by 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Zenfone Max:
The fourth phone and the last phone which was a surprise launch today at the Zen Festival is the Zenfone Max which packs a huge 5000 mAh battery. The Taiwanese company claims that their device can also charge other Android smartphones which seems quite interesting.
The Zenfone Max has the same display quality as Zenfone laser, a 5.5 inch HD screen with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC with 64 bit architecture coupled with 2 GB RAM. It has 16 GB of internal memory which is further expandable via the microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on Asus Zen UI 2.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
On the camera front, it sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and dual LED flash. It is also equipped with a 5 MP Selfie snapper with 85 degree wide-angle support. The Dual SIM phone supports 4G LTE connectivity, apart from that it also supports 3G, GPS, micro USB and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone is expected to be available in October.
