iPhone 6s launch event officially dated for 9 September, Siri makes the wait interesting
Apple is all set to host an event where it is widely expected to introduce the new iPhones and a revamped Apple TV set-top box. The invites are already sent to media for the big event which will be held at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco on September 9 at 10 AM PT or 10.30 PM IST.
To make the wait interesting, Apple has taken on Siri. Apple users can ask Siri for a hint about the event by saying “Hey Siri, give us a hint”, but Siri only offers funny replies such as, “Why don’t you check a rumors blog? That’s what I do.” and “You’re cute when you’re desperate for information.”
Apple is expected to launch the two new iPhones- iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus which are expected to have brand new A9 processor with 2 GB RAM and the Force Touch display.
If rumors are to be believed the company may also launch an upgraded version of Apple TV with improved remote that integrates a touch pad for input and microphone for Siri based voice control as mentioned in our earlier reports. However, Apple hasn’t revealed anything about the event yet.
