The Xolo Black is Xolo’s most promising smartphone until now. If we talk about the design, the phone looks stunning, it has rounded corners, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 covers both the front and the back of the phone. On the back, the placement of  two cameras and the LED Flash in between them looks amazing, the power button & volume rockers are placed very nicely on the side of the phone, the power button also has breathing light for notifications which looks very stylish. The phone feels very premium and scores full marks in design. The XOLO Black sports a 5.5 inches Full HD display with 403 ppi pixel density and the display is awesome. It runs on 1.5 GHz Octa-Core 64-bit 2nd Gen Qualcomm  Snapdragon 615 Processor coupled with 3 GB RAM (XOLO has upgraded the RAM from 2 GB to 3 GB recently), it has good performance and the phone can handle mid level games well although it lags a little in heavy games. The best part of the phone is the dual camera setup on the rear. The Xolo Black has two rear cameras of 13 MP & 2 MP and both work simultaneously, the 13 MP camera captures the subject while the 2 MP camera is used to capture the Depth and the final image is the combination of both. The rear camera comes with features like fast focus (0.15 sec), Ubifocus™ (you can change the focus after clicking images) & ChromaFlash™ (snaps two shots, one with flash and one without). These features promise a lot and the picture quality is good but could have been even better. The 5 MP front camera also comes with front LED Flash. It runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with beautiful HIVE UI on top of it. The phone has a 3200 mAh battery which gives good battery backup. Overall, the Xolo Black is a very good package, it has a great design and good features and can be another good buying choice. If you want a smaller phone, you can also go with the XOLO Black 1x with 5 inches screen and priced at Rs. 8,999 .

7. Micromax Yu Yureka Plus:

Earlier the Yu Yureka had completely revolutionized the 10,000 Rs segment and now the company has made it even better by launching the Yureka Plus which comes with a Full HD display. A year earlier you wouldn’t have got the phone with this specs and quality even at 25,000 Rs. So, let’s take a look at the phone. The Yureka Plus has got a very sturdy design. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor which is powerful but it heated badly in the Yureka, now with software updates and optimizations this issue is less. It has got 2 GB RAM, which makes the phone capable to handle heavy gaming and multi-tasking smoothly. Earlier the phone was launched with Cyanogen OS but now the company has relaunched it with stock Android. It has got a large 5.5 inches screen which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Full HD screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution offers the pixel density of 401 ppi. Another important thing is that it has got good picture quality with the 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras. It is good on storage also, it comes with 16 GB internal memory (12.5 GB user accessible) which can be expanded upto 32 GB. With the 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery the phone provides decent battery life. The phone now comes in two colors, moondust grey and alabaster white. Overall, with good specs, great camera, excellent build quality and good gaming experience, it is undoubtedly a good phone to buy but, YU has weirdly hiked its price which takes away a lot of value for money quotient. If you want a 5 inches phone the Micromax Canvas Knight 2 can also be a good choice or if you can increase your budget just a little, the Micromax Canvas 5 can also be a good option at around Rs. 11,500.

Asus is on the roll in India. It has already got good taste of success with its Zenfone 2 line-up and to ride high on it, it has launched many new Zenfone 2 variants, starting right from 10,000 Rs. And we have got the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL at this price range. The phone comes with lots of interesting features but the most important of them is present in its name “Laser”, the 13 MP rear camera of the phone comes with laser auto-focus with focus speed as fast as 0.3 seconds, it also improves the image quality. The rear camera also comes with Super HDR, f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens, zero shutter lag and low light mode. Overall, the rear camera has best picture quality. The phone also has a 85 degree wide-angle 5 MP front camera. It has a 5.5 inches of HD display with 267 ppi pixel density. The screen is protected with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The newly Asus Zenfone Max is also priced at Rs. 9,999, it comes with a huge 5,000 mAh battery but it weighs over 200 grams and is little slower, so only go with it if you really need very large battery backup.

9. Samsung Galaxy On7:

To regain its lost grounds in the budget segment, Samsung has launched its new Galaxy On5 and On7 in India. The Galaxy On7 is the more powerful out of the two and makes a better proposition so let’s talk about it. Starting with the design, the Galaxy On7 has the typical Samsung design with plastic build. It has a leather like textured back panel and beautiful metal-like plastic edges on the sides, the build quality is decent. It sports a 5.5 inches TFT screen with HD resolution, turning out a 267 ppi pixel density. The display quality is decent but far better displays are available at this price. The Galaxy On7 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad Core Processor coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM and gives a good lag free performance. It features a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera and like other Samsung phones, the picture quality of both the cameras is good. The phone runs on Android v5.1 with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI running on top of it. Samsung has revamped the Touchwiz UI, it is now optimized, looks beautiful and comes with less bloatware. The phone supports 4G on both the sim slots. It comes with 8 GB of internal storage which should have been atleast 16 GB, however it is expandable upto 128 GB via microSD card. A good thing about the phone is its big 3000 mAh removable battery, the phone is not very resource intensive and thus it delivers good battery backup. Overall, the Galaxy On7 packs all the necessary features & good cameras but in terms of performance it is far behind from what the competition is offering at the same price but, it still can be a good choice if you have normal usage and specially want a Samsung phone for its reliability and after sales service. The Galaxy On5 priced at Rs. 8,990 has same design but comes with a smaller 5 inches screen, 8 MP camera & 2600 mAh battery, it can be a good choice if you are looking for a 5 inches phone. If you increase your budget a little the Galaxy J5 will be a better choice.

A great thing about the phone is, it comes with the 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 Processor, which needs no introduction. It is immensely powerful and is well-respected. The phone comes with 2 GB RAM. The M810 has decent 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras. It comes with Sony Exmor R Sensor and f/2.2 aperture lens. The phone has 16 GB internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB.
