ZTE Blade Max 3 with dual rear cameras and ZTE Max XL with 6-inch screen launched

After the launch of  ZTE’s high-end smartphone under its Nubia branding, ZTE is up with another set of smartphones to compete in the budget segment now. The ZTE Blade Max 3 and Max XL are the latest budget smartphones from the company that have been announced in US. The ZTE Blade MAX is priced at $199.99 which roughly translates to Rs. 12,800 where as the ZTE Max XL is priced at $129 which is roughly Rs. 8,200.

ZTE Blade Max 3:

Looking at the Blade Max 3, the smartphone holds some impressive specifications considering the price at which it is available. It sports a 6-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display and has got a 64-bit 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 625 processor under the hood. The smartphone comes with 2 GB RAM and  16 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The highlight of the ZTE Blade Max 3 is its Dual camera setup at the rear with 13 MP sensors each (one RGB, one monochrome), along with PDAF. There is also a 5 MP front camera for selfies. The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G LTE, WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The device contains a 4,000 mAh battery where the company claims it to deliver up to 40 hours of talk time and 31 days of standby time. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel along with other on-board sensors such as Accelerometer, Light, Proximity, Hall, Gyro, and Compass.

ZTE Max XL:

ZTE Max is another budget smartphone with good specifications. The device sports a 6-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LCD display and has got a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 435 processor under the hood. The smartphone comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The highlight of this smartphone is that, it is running on the latest Android version i.e 7.1.1 Nougat which has rarely been seen in any recent budget releases.

The smartphone bears a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G LTE, WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The device contains a 3,990 mAh battery where the company claims it to deliver up to 27 hours of talk time . The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor at the back along with other on-board sensors such as Accelerometer, Light, Proximity, Hall, Gyro, and Compass.

Both the devices show some promising specs at a budget price. For time being, they are only available in US and their availability in other markets including India is still unknown.
