ZTE has announced a new smartphone, dubbed as ZTE Axon 7 at an event in China. The smartphone will be offered in Ion Gold and Quartz Gray color variant.
The ZTE Axon 7 flaunts a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with optional force touch feature. It is powered by Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU. The smartphone will be available in three variants, 4GB RAM with 64 GB storage, 4GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage option. It has expandable memory up to 128GB with hybrid Sim slot and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MiFavor UI 4.0 on top.
The Axon 7 houses a 20-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash, 4K video recording, PDAF, and OIS. It also sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone includes a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel and is backed by a 3250mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
The ZTE Axon 7 is priced at 2,899 yuan (approx. Rs. 29,600) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version while the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage option costs 3,299 yuan (approx. Rs. 33,600). The 6 GB RAM variant is priced at 4099 yuan (approx. Rs. 41,800).
