The Chinese manufacturer, Zopo has entered into Indian market with the launch of its Zopo Speed 7. The company has recently partnered exclusively with Advantage Computers India Pvt. Ltd. (ADCOM) to sell the device offline and online across India.
The Zopo Speed 7 sports a 5 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by 1.5 GHz 64-bit octa-core MT6753 SoC coupled with Mali-720 GPU and 3 GB RAM. It has 16 GB of inbuilt memory which is further expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card.
The Speed 7 features a 13.2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a f/2.2 aperture, on the front it has a 5 MP front snapper. The device is backed by a 2,500 mAh Li-polymer battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Z-UI.
The dual sim smartphone offers connectivity features like TE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPA/A-GPS, and micro USB 2.0. It also has some other features like Smart Awake, Gesture Sensing, and Double Click Awake.
The Zopo Speed 7 measures 146.1 x 70.6 x 8.65mm and weighs 150 grams. The smartphone will be available in Black and White color variant for Rs 12,999 exclusively via Snapdeal from 1st week of September.
Commenting on the launch, Kevin Xu, GM Zopo Mobile said “India is a market with a huge potential. It is the fastest growing smartphone market globally and after success in Europe and other Asian countries, it was a logical step to come here.”
