YU Yureka S with 5.2-inch FHD Display, 3GB RAM and 3000mAh battery launched at Rs. 12,999

Yu Televentures, a subsidiary brand of Micromax has launched the Yu Yureka S, today. The Android-based smartphone is now listed on company’s site for Rs. 12,999 and will be available from online and offline stores in the country.

The Yu Yureka S features a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with a pixel density of 423ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.7 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. It bears a 16 GB internal storage, expandable with microSD card and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The Yureka S sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. It also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is packed with a 3,000mAh non-removable battery which is rated to give 9 hours of talk time and 450 hours on standby. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

The Yu Yureka S measures 154.8 x 78 x 8.5 mm and weighs 172 grams. It will be offered in black color only.
