Yu Televentures, the subsidiary of Micromax has made a great impact with its smartphones running on the Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The company has now launched its much proclaimed smartphone Yu Yuphoria with stock Android (5.0) instead of the Cyanogen OS with a price cut of about Rs. 500. The phone is now available on Amazon.in for Rs. 6499. Also, the device can be purchased now without any Flash sales.
The Yuphoria was launched in May this year. The device got over 10 lakhs registrations on the first flash sale showing the huge response acquired by it. And since then the phone has proved to be a huge success.
As acknowledged by you, the Yu Yuphoria contains a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixel) IPS display and gets the power through 64-Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with Adreno 306 GPU for faster graphics performance. The smartphone is 4G supported and is available in two colors Buffed Steel with black panel (rear) and Champagne Gold with white panel.
Notably, Yu Yuphoria is the second device after the Yu Yureka Plus to be released for public in Stock Android 5.0 (Lollipop), also available on Amazon.in.
The stock Android Yuphoria is only available in Buffed Steel color and there is no information regarding the release of the second color option. The company lately also revealed that the anticipated Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on the latest Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) for the present devices on Cyanogen 12 will be announced in the coming time to offer the people more features.
