Xperia Z4, Sony’s 2015 Flagship Unveiled With Android 5.0 Lollipop

Sony has added an another feather in their list of high-end flagship Smartphones. The popular Xperia series has a new entry – ” The Sony Xperia Z4″, which is one of the most anticipated smartphone of 2015. Sony has launched this flagship in Japan with no details regarding International launch and Pricing of this Flagship Smartphone yet.

Sony Xperia Z4 is similar to its predecessor Xperia Z3 in terms of design. Sony is continuing the similar design for its flagships. Sony Xperia Z4 sports a 5.2-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Triluminos display and is backed by the Sony’s X-Reality mobile picture engine. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core (quad-core 1.5 GHz + quad-core 2 GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM, offering a great lag-free performance. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Like the predecessor, Xperia Z4 also sports a 20.7 -megapixel Auto-Focus rear camera with 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS BSI sensor and a pulsed LED flash. The Sony Xperia Z4 also sports a 5.1-megapixel front camera, which is an upgrade from Xperia Z3’s 2.2-megapixel front camera. It also features a 25mm wide-angle lens, apart from electronic image stabilisation.

The smartphone has 32 GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card. The smartphone is backed by a 2930 mAh battery. Being a Sony Xperia flagship the phone is waterproof and a dustproof device,  which has been a USP of Xperia Smartphones. Like its predecessors, Sony Xperia Z4 is also expected to be a hit in the Smartphones market.

The smartphone will be available in White, Black, Copper and Aqua Green colors. There are no words from Sony on International launch of this flagship smartphone yet.
