Xolo, the sub-brand of Lava has launched a budget smartphone in its Era series, dubbed as ‘Xolo Era 2’ at a price tag of Rs. 4,499. It is a 4G VoLTE smartphone and will support Reliance Jio network in India.
The Xolo Era 2 sports a 5-inch (840 x 480 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor paired with 1 GB DDR3 RAM. It comes with 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
The smartphone packs a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash, 4P Largan Lens, f/2.0 aperture, 1.4um pixel size and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera also with LED flash. Some of the features included in the camera app are Live Photos, Beauty Mode, Burst Mode, Time-Lapse and Slow-Motion. The smartphone has a Quick Camera feature which can be activated quickly by double tapping the Home Button.
The dual-sim (4G+4G) smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is backed by a 2350 mAh battery. It supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Xolo Era 2 comes in Black, Nile Blue, and Pyramid Gold colour variants. It will be sold exclusively on Snapdeal via flash sale method. The pre-registrations have started already. The first flash sale will begin at 10 AM on 27th October.
