The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will launch Redmi Note 3 in India on March 3. The smartphone was first launched in China as Redmi Note 3 Pro at 999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 10,500).
Xiaomi has scheduled the launch event for Redmi Note 3 on March 3rd at Talkatora Stadium, Gate 5, Talkatora Garden, New Delhi at 04.30 pm. And the first 1000 attendees who successfully register at the event onsite will be entitled to a free goodie bag. You can register yourself for the event here.
The Redmi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display and is powered by Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone is expected to be launched in two variants; 2 GB RAM with 16 GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32 GB storage. It will run on MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop.
The Note 3 will sport a 16 megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, and 1080p video recording. On the front it has 5 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording. It is said to be backed by 4050mAh battery with fast charging.
