Xiaomi, recently launched its flagship smartphone Mi Note 2 and the bezel less Mi MIX in China. However, these smartphones will not see light in India, as said by the company. The budget smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 3 was a hit in India and it has seen multiple revisions in the form of the Redmi 3s, the Redmi Pro and the Redmi Prime.

Now, according to a report by Androidheadlines, the Redmi 4 might be the next smartphone from the company. It will sport a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is expected to be powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The Redmi 4 might feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. It will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a 4000 mAh battery powering the phone. As per the leaked image, we can see the fingerprint scanner mounted on the back.

The Redmi 4 is expected to come in Silver, Gray and Gold colors and expected price is 1300 Yuan (approx. Rs 12,800), which is almost double the cost of the Redmi 3.

The Redmi 4 has been already certified by TENAA. However, there is no official word from Xiaomi yet. So, you are advised to take this report with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more updates!
