Xiaomi’s upcoming mid-budget smartphone, Redmi 4 has recently surfaced on Geekbench, revealing its key specifications. Also, the rumored Mi Note 2 specification details along with the prices have been tipped by a Weibo user.
According to the benchmarking website, the Redmi 4 could feature an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with 3GB RAM and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is rumored to have a 5-inch (1920 X 1080 pixels) Full HD display with full metal unibody and fingerprint sensor. A tipster on Weibo claims that the Redmi 4 will be launched on August 25th and is expected to be priced around at CNY 699 (approx. Rs. 7,000).
The same tipster also claims that the company could launch the rumored Mi Note 2 on September 5th. Some of the innards of the Mi Note 2 are AMOLED display, Snapdragon 821 SoC, 3600mAh battery, metal body, and fingerprint scanner. As per the tipster, the smartphone may be launched in two variants priced at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs. 25,000) for the 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage variant, and a 128GB storage variant at CNY 2,799 (approx. Rs. 28,000).
However, there is no official confirmation regarding the launch date of both the smartphones.
