Xiaomi seems to be gearing up for the launch of two new smartphones, as the company’s devices got spotted on Tenaa, a Chinese telecom regulatory website, recently.
As per the listing, two new devices with model number 2016030 and 2015115, seem to be the successors of Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Redmi Note 3 respectively. The Xiaomi 2016030 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 415 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16 GB inbuilt storage and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It may sport a 13-megapixel rear LED flash camera with an 8-megapixel front facing camera. It might be backed by a 2850mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 2015115 is said to feature a 5.5 inch Full HD display, powered by 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 650 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16 GB inbuilt storage, and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It is said to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset packs a large 4000mAh battery, like its predecessor.
Although the company hasn’t hinted anything about these smartphones yet, getting certified on Tenaa means the devices might launch soon.
