Xiaomi has quietly launched its ‘Mi Pad 3’ tablet, which has been listed on the company’s website in China. The Mi Pad 3 is priced at 1,499 Yuan (Rs. 14,139 approx) as listed on the website and will be available for sale from 6th April in China. As of now, the tablet is only announced in China but will be soon launching world wide and we can expect it to hit Indian market at the same time. The device is available in Champagne Gold color variant only.
The specifications of the Mi Pad 3 includes a 7.9 inch Retina display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and up to 326ppi pixel density. The tablet is powered by an Hexa-core 2.1 Hz MediaTek MT8176 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The device runs MIUI 8.0 based on Android Marshmallow.
The Mi Pad 3 bears a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, whereas a 5 MP camera up front for selfies and video calls. The connectivity options of the tab include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB Type-C port. The device holds a massive 6,600 mAh battery with fast charge support which is claimed to deliver up to 867 hours of stand-by time and 12 hours of usage time.
