As expected, Xiaomi has launched a new variant of Mi Notebook Air with 4G support in partnership with China Mobile. It has Cat.4 4G LTE support built-in with any SIM card. It has the same all-metal design and comes in 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch models.
Both the 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch models run on Windows 10 OS, include a 1MP HD webcam, digital array microphone, WiFi 802.11ac 2×2 (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1. Other options include 3.5mm audio jack, Realtek ALC233, AKG Customised dual speakers and Dolby audio. Both the models have 135-degree opening and closing hinge.
The 12.5 inch model comes with Full HD display and 170-degree wide viewing angle. It is powered by an Intel Core m3 6Y30 processor (4M Cache, up to 2.2 GHz), clubbed with Intel HD Graphics 515 and 4GB LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with 128GB SATA SSD, and an additional SSD expansion slot. It comes with 1 x USB 3.0 port, HDMI and USB Type-C. It is backed by a 37Wh battery with up to 11.5h battery life. It measures at 292 x 202 x 12.9mm and weighs at 1.07kg.
On the other hand, the Full HD 13.3-inch model has 6th Gen Intel Core i7 processor (3M Cache, up to 3 GHz) with 1GB DDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GT 940MX GPU and 8GB DDR4 RAM. It comes with 256 GB PCIe × 4 NVMe SSD with an additional SSD expansion slot. It comes with 2 x USB 3.0 port, HDMI and USB Type-C. It is backed by a 40Wh battery with up to 9.5h battery life. It measures at 309.6 x 210.9 x 14.8mm and weighs at 1.28kg.
The new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G also comes in Gold and Silver colors. The 12.5-inch model is priced at 4699 yuan (approx. Rs. 45,900) and the 13.3-inch model is priced at 6999 yuan (approx. Rs. 68,350).
