Xiaomi seems to be all set to launch the second generation of Mi Band on May 10, as the company CEO Lei Jun has shown off the MI Band 2 in a photograph. The image was spotted on Weibo, a Chinese social network site.
Unlike its predecessor, the Mi Band 2 will feature both LCD screen and a physical button. The LCD display may show time, date, step count, heart rate and calorie count along with the notifications for calls and messages. Unfortunately, nothing much has been revealed about the device but, it is expected to launch at an aggressive price.
Recently, the company has also shared a short video on its Twitter handle showing the notifications shade of MIUI 8, which is expected to be based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Along with the Mi Band 2, Xiaomi will also launch the Mi Max and MIUI 8 on May 10.
