After launching the Mi Air Purifier 2 in India, Xiaomi has also officially launched the second version of the Mi fitness band, dubbed as the ‘Mi Band 2’. It was earlier launched in China in June this year.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is an upgraded version of its predecessor. It features a 0.42-inch OLED display with scratch-resistant glass, that shows time, steps taken, heart rate count, etc. along with a touch button and an improved pedometer.
The Mi Band 2 features an IP67 water resistant body and is resistant against sweat, cosmetics, dust and more. It also alerts the user about incoming calls, alarms, and notifications. The fitness tracker also has Heart rate sensor and also monitors your fitness and tracks your sleep. You can check in-depth statistics via the also updated Mi-Fit app.
The Mi Band 2 is backed by a 70 mAh Li-Po battery which offers up to 20 days of standby time. It supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE for connectivity. It measures 40.3 X 15.7 X 10.5 mm and weighs just 7 grams. It comes in Black, Blue, Green, and Orange colors.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is priced at Rs. 1999. It will be available on mi.com from September 27th at 12 pm and on Amazon.in from September 30th, 12 am onwards.
